Dorton Asbestos Removal services is the sister company to Dorton Demolition & Excavation
Limited.
In 1983 The Asbestos (licensing) Regulations came into force which changed the way asbestos removal was dealt with, throughout the years these have been regularly updated with the most recent being “Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006”.
Since 2001 when Dorton Asbestos Removal Services Limited were granted a 1 Year licence to carry out asbestos work we have grown steadily and have successfully renewed our licence on two
occasions (2002 and 2005).
Each time a standard 3 year licence has been granted for asbestos works (Licence Number; 4010504549).
We are also licensed by the Environment Agency (Licence Number; SSU/878316) to carry hazardous waste and own our own asbestos waste skips which are sealed lockable containers. These are disposed of at a licensed hazardous waste facility.

Equipment
Within our fleet of vehicles’ we have several vans with separate compartments for waste. All of our decontamination units are self-contained and are able to operate independently from site services.
All of our equipment are regularly maintained and tested not more than every 6 months and are of PAS 60/2 Standard.
Regulations require Vision panels to be fitted to the working area, where this is not possible then we are required to have CCTV. To this end we have purchased several sets of wireless, rechargeable CCTV units to enable us a freedom to viewing of all areas even when power is not available.
Works carried out.
We are able to undertake all aspects of asbestos works from removal, management, decontamination and encapsulation. All works carried out are per the CAR 2006 Regulations and where applicable CDM 2007 Regulations. We offer free quotations and do our utmost to provide advice and information.
Upon completion of the majority of works carried out we invite a independent UKAS accredited laboratory to carry our various forms of air monitoring (4-Stage Clearance, Certificate of Re-occupation, Personal Monitoring, Reassurance Monitoring).
Analysis
We can offer a comprehensive analysis service for all requirements using an independent laboratory. This may involve an initial sample to ascertain the asbestos content of suspect materials,
or a full, detailed survey with photographs and samples if a building has a large quantity of asbestos within it.
